On 23 December 2025, Sefalana Group, in partnership with Senn Foods, made a significant food and essentials donation to the Botswana Defence Force (BDF) at Sir Seretse Khama Barracks (SSKB). This initiative reflects Sefalana's continued dedication to addressing national needs, particularly during challenging economic times and the festive season.
The donation was aimed at supporting soldiers who remained on active duty during the holidays, ensuring they are adequately catered for while carrying out their operations in service of the nation. Through this contribution, Sefalana acknowledges the sacrifice and commitment of BDF members who continue to protect the country while many others celebrate with their families.
As part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, Sefalana Group's donation of food and toiletry hampers is valued at over BWP 400,000. The official handover was led by Mr. Chandra Chauhan, Sefalana Group Managing Director, underscoring the Group's leadership involvement in initiatives that give back to the nation.
The success of this initiative was made possible through collaboration with our partners. The Foods Botswana team, alongside Senn Foods, played a key role in assembling the hampers, coordinating transport logistics, and providing manpower for offloading - to whom sincere appreciation is extended.
